ScreenLite End User License Agreement (EULA)

This End User License Agreement ("EULA" or "Agreement") is a legal agreement between you (either an individual or a single legal entity, referred to as "Licensee" or "You") and GraphicWind ("Licensor") for the ScreenLite software application, including any executable files, installers, libraries, documentation, and digital assets provided by GraphicWind (the "Software").

BY DOWNLOADING, INSTALLING, COPYING, OR USING THE SOFTWARE, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT, DO NOT INSTALL OR USE THE SOFTWARE.

1. Grant of License

Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, GraphicWind grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to install and execute the executable object code of ScreenLite on compatible Microsoft Windows devices that you own or control.

2. Trial License Conditions

The 7-day Trial License is provided solely for the purpose of enabling you to evaluate the Software's suitability, system performance, and features.

• The trial starts automatically upon the first execution of ScreenLite on your PC.
• All Pro features (including lossless high-DPI export, high-framerate screen recording, full annotation tools, and color pickers) are fully unlocked during the 7-day evaluation.
• Upon conclusion of the 7-day period, the Software requires an authentic ScreenLite Pro license key to continue accessing Pro functionality.

3. ScreenLite Pro Perpetual License

Upon purchasing ScreenLite Pro for the one-time fee of ₹299 (INR):

• You are granted a perpetual license to use the licensed release of ScreenLite indefinitely on your authorized Windows hardware.
• No Subscriptions: You will never be charged recurring monthly or yearly subscription fees for this license.
• Minor version upgrades, performance updates, and bug fixes for the purchased major release series are included at no additional cost.

4. Commercial & Personal Usage Rights

All recordings, images, snapshots, and annotations generated by you using ScreenLite are your sole intellectual property. GraphicWind claims zero copyright or licensing interest in your created media files.

5. License Activation & Device Limits

To prevent unauthorized piracy and unauthorized license distribution:

• Digital Activation: Activation requires entering your valid license key inside the ScreenLite desktop application, which validates the key with our secure licensing server over HTTPS.
• Device Limit: Each ScreenLite Pro license is issued for standard single-user fair usage (authorized for activation on up to 2 personal Windows devices owned and operated primarily by the single designated licensee, such as your desktop workstation and laptop).
• Hardware Transfers: If you upgrade your PC or reinstall Windows, you may reactivate your license key on your new installation. If you encounter activation limit issues during a legitimate hardware upgrade, our support team can reset your activation slot upon request.

6. License Restrictions & Prohibitions

Except as expressly permitted by this Agreement or mandatory statutory law, you shall NOT:

• Sell, resell, rent, lease, sublicense, distribute, share, or transfer your license key or the Software binaries to any third party.
• Publish, share, or distribute your unique license key on public websites, crack directories, or forums.
• Modify, translate, adapt, decompile, disassemble, or reverse-engineer the Software, or attempt to derive the source code from the binaries.
• Bypass, modify, circumvent, or disable the license validation, cryptographic security mechanisms, or activation checks in ScreenLite.
• Create derivative works, unauthorized installers, or repackaged bundles based on ScreenLite.

7. Ownership & Intellectual Property

ScreenLite is licensed, not sold. GraphicWind retains all right, title, interest, copyright, trade secret, and intellectual property rights in and to the Software, including all code, UI designs, icons, graphics, and documentation. No title to the intellectual property in the Software is transferred to you.

8. Software Updates & Maintenance

GraphicWind may provide software updates, patches, or improvements. This Agreement applies to any updates or patches provided by GraphicWind unless separate terms accompany such updates. GraphicWind is not obligated to provide continuous support, new major version upgrades, or customizations for discontinued operating system versions.

9. Termination & License Revocation

This Agreement is effective until terminated.

• You may terminate this Agreement at any time by uninstalling the Software and destroying all copies of the Software in your possession.
• GraphicWind may immediately terminate or revoke your license without notice or refund if you fail to comply with any provision of this Agreement, if payment fraud occurs, or if your license key is discovered to be publicly distributed.
• Upon termination, you must immediately cease all use of the Software and remove it from your devices.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GRAPHICWIND EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

GRAPHICWIND DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE FUNCTIONS CONTAINED IN THE SOFTWARE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, THAT THE OPERATION OF THE SOFTWARE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DEFECTS IN THE SOFTWARE WILL BE CORRECTED.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL GRAPHICWIND, ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, OR DEVELOPERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES (INCLUDING DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, LOSS OF DATA, OR COMPUTER MALFUNCTION) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THIS AGREEMENT OR THE USE OF THE SOFTWARE.

IN ANY CASE, GRAPHICWIND’S TOTAL MAXIMUM AGGREGATE LIABILITY UNDER ANY PROVISION OF THIS AGREEMENT SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU FOR THE SCREENLITE SOFTWARE LICENSE (₹299 INR).

12. Governing Law & Contact Information

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without giving effect to any choice-of-law or conflict-of-law principles.
